Through MBE Touch, you have the possibility to create an order of shipment selecting your nearest or convenient MBE Center, taking a picture of what you want to send and adding a few more information. You will be able to choose if you want that the MBE Center picks up your item, or you can take the item yourself to the MBE Center. MBE cannot accept shipments of dangerous goods, which can be harmful for people, or animals, or goods with not sufficient packaging. To have an extensive explanation, please read our Terms and Conditions. If your item exceeds our maximum dimensions or violates our Terms & Conditions, we will not be able to ship for you through MBE Touch. We strongly recommend you to contact our MBE Centers if think that your item cannot be shipped through MBE Touch.
MBE Touch will also let you use MBE Centers as pickup point to collect your online purchases or shipments. When you register to MBE Touch, an MBE User Code will be assigned to you. In order to use the Receive service, you will have to enter the MBE address and the MBE User Code when you buy something online, in the shipment section.
The “pick it up” option will let you pick up the item in the MBE Center: you will have to select a date when you will be going to pick up the item, and you will pay according to the storage time. If you select that you want to pickup the item, a secret pin will be given to you. Please make sure that when you go to the MBE Center to pick the item, you remember your secret pin that must be communicate to the MBE Center, and that you have with you your valid ID Card that must be showed to the MBE Center.

When you select an MBE Center to receive your item (max Dim Weight: 50kg), you have 2 options:
The cost of a shipment can be affected by the amount of space that it occupies on its transportation mean, rather than the actual weight. This is the volumetric (or dimensional) weight. The maximum value between the dimensional weight and the actual weight will be compared with the threshold, in order to determine if the package is allowed in the selected category or the upper category must be chosen.
To determine the dimensional weight of a package, you must first measure the length, width and height of the package in cm using the longest point on each side, taking into account any bulges or misshaped sides. You then multiply those dimensions to get the cubic size of the package. For example, let’s say your package is 30cm x 12cm x 14cm. In this case, you multiply these 3 dimensions and determine that the package is 4,320 cm3. The dimensional weight of a package is then the cubic size of a package divided by 5000 for domestic and international shipments in Italy. These calculations are shown in more detail below:
Size Very Small: fits in a catalog/documents envelope: max Dim Weight 2,5kg
For very small items that fit and can be shipped in a catalog evenvelope
Size Small: fits in a Shoebox: max Dim Weight 5kg
For small items, the maximum dimensional weight must be less than 5kg. This category is appropriate for documents, smartphones, shoes etc. Below an example of what can and can’t be shipped selecting this category:
Example 1. Actual weight and dimensions: 3kg; Width: 50 cm; Height: 20 cm; Length: 20 cm
Dim Weight Calculation: (50 x 20 x 20)/5000 = 4kg (<5kg) → Allowed in Size Small
Example 2. Actual weight and dimensions: 4kg; Width: 50 cm; Height: 30 cm; Length: 20 cm
Dim Weight Calculation: (50 x 30 x 20)/5000 = 6kg (>5kg) → Not Allowed in Size Small → Select Size Medium
Size Medium: fits in a Backpack: max Dim Weight 15kg
For medium items, the maximum dimensional weight must be less than 15kg. This category is indicated for books, clothing, toys etc. Below an example of what can and can’t be shipped selecting this category:
Example 1. Actual weight and dimensions: 4kg; Width: 80 cm; Height: 20 cm; Length: 20 cm

For large items, the maximum dimensional weight must be less than 30kg. This category is indicated for framed artwork, electronics, etc. Below an example of what can and can’t be shipped selecting this category:

For extra-large items, the maximum dimensional weight must be less than 50kg. This category is indicated for audio and lighting systems, kitchen appliances, small furnitures, skis, bikes. Below an example of what can and can’t be shipped selecting this category:
Example 1. Actual weight and dimensions: 40kg; Width: 80 cm; Height: 60 cm; Length: 40 cm
Dim Weight Calculation: (80 x 60 x 40)/5000 =38kg → (<50kg) →Allowed in Size Extra-Large
